Make the harvest go further for everyone.
A completed Shared Kitchen reduces the village’s food consumption by 25%. It saves food rather than generating a new food-production cycle. The discount is a village-wide effect and does not stack with extra kitchens.

Make room for it.
Place it on a connected plot like other buildings. A central spot makes a natural gathering place, although the saving does not depend on a coverage radius.

Improvements & appearance.
Use Improve in the building details to raise its tier, up to tier 3. Read the quoted materials and work time before confirming. The plot stays the same.
03 / A little help
If something seems stuck.
The kitchen has to be complete before the saving applies. A discount cannot replace a food source: keep gardeners or foragers working and watch whether your overall food balance is rising.
