A familiar meeting place on your village green.

The Well is a small civic landmark available from the start. A connected Well gives water to up to 20 nearby residents and helps you shape a village square. It produces no food, essence, housing or storage.

## Make room for it.

Leave its three-by-three-metre plot and the entrance clear. Give the surrounding paths enough room if you want it to sit at the centre of a crossroads.

## Improvements & appearance.

This building has no tier improvement in the current rules. Inspect it to see the maintenance and appearance options available in your build. Style choices change its appearance without changing the footprint or gameplay.

## If something seems stuck.

The Well is different from the Moonwell. If you are looking for lantern essence production, that is the larger, later-unlocking Moonwell and its keeper.
